Preheat oven to 180 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
125 grams butter
1¾ cups sugar
1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 cups Cornflakes
Cream butter and sugar, then add sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Beat well.
Mix in flour baking powder, baking soda and Cornflakes till well incorporated.
Roll into small balls and place on lined baking tray. Flatten balls.
Bake approx. 15–20 minutes until golden. (For extra crispy biscuits flatten several times with a fork while baking)
Cool on wire tray and store in airtight container.
