Lemon and sour cream dessert tart

Lemon Silk Tart

A super simple lemon dessert tart.

 finely grated zest of 1 Lemon
 juice of 3 Lemons
 3 Eggs
 ½ cup Sugar
 ½ cup Sour cream
 1 Sheet of store-bought sweet short crust pastry

Preheat oven to 175°C.

Line a round pie or flan dish with baking paper. Roll out sweet short crust pastry and line the flan dish. Prick well and bake in a moderate oven until just cooked but not yet brown.

Pour into the pre-baked pie shell.

Bake until set and golden (approx 15–20 minutes).
